You can wake up your Range Dial by pressing down on the knob. If you don't see a light, even when you turn the knob, try removing the batteries for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, try using fresh batteries. If that doesn't work, contact us.


If your problem is that the Range Dial seems to be on but is not connected to Bluetooth or the app isn't getting temperatures, you may be seeing a bug with displaying the temperature, which appears to happen when you first try connecting your Range Dial. We're working on fixing this. In the meantime, try force quitting the app (double tap on home button, swipe up on the Range app), and launching again. If you're seeing the same results, restart your phone and try it again.
