Rangefinders are visual temperature guides for different foods or tasks, such as cooking beef, candymaking or homebrewing. In landscape orientation, the Range app will show a graph of your Range's temperature over time. When you swipe up or down, you will scroll through Rangefinders.
Rangefinders make it easy to track your recipe's progress through stages, or if you want to maintain a temperature. When you have a Rangefinder onscreen:
- You'll hear a 'ding' sound when the temperature moves into or out of a zone.
- If you're going to walk out of earshot, tap on a zone to toggle remote alerts for it as well.
